Uttarakhand Medical Service Selection Board (UKMSSB) is inviting applications for 587 posts of Nursing Officer for both male and female candidates. Applicants with B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, or GNM Diploma can apply. Vacancy Details for UKMSSB Nursing Officer Recruitment 2025

There are a total of 587 Nursing Officer vacancies in this recruitment. Out of these, 480 posts are for Female Nursing Officers (336 for Diploma holders and 144 for Degree holders). For Male Nursing Officers, 107 posts are vacant (75 for Diploma holders and 32 for Degree holders).

Eligibility Criteria for UKMSSB Nursing Officer Notification

Essential Qualification: 

  • Candidates must have B.Sc (Hons) Nursing / B.Sc Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing OR a GNM Diploma or Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing from a recognized institute. 
  • Applicants must also be registered with the Uttarakhand State Nursing & Midwife Council (or Indian Nursing Council) before the application deadline. 
  • Candidates should have a working knowledge of Hindi. Those who have completed 2 years of Territorial Army service or hold an NCC ‘B’ or ‘C’ certificate will get preference during selection.

Age Limit:

  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Maximum Age: 42 years

Age Relaxation:-

  • SC/ST/OBC (Uttarakhand): 5 years
  • PWD Candidates: 10 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: Service period + 3 years
  • Other relaxations as per government rules.

Pay Scale for UKMSSB Nursing Officer 2025

The selected Nursing Officers will receive a monthly salary under Pay Scale-7 as per the 7th Pay Commission, ranging from Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400. This post also includes additional allowances like DA, HRA and other benefits provided by the Government of Uttarakhand.
